Step by step
Set up Replyero with your WhatsApp number
From signup to your first AI-replied customer message in about 15 minutes. Your personal WhatsApp stays yours — the AI works from a dedicated business line.
Before you start, prepare
- A Facebook or Meta Business login you can use for your business (any admin of your Meta Business Portfolio).
- A dedicated phone number for the business line — it must be able to receive an SMS or voice call for one-time verification, and it must NOT be active in the WhatsApp app on any phone. A cheap prepaid SIM, a second eSIM or your office landline all work. (One number can live in only one place: either the WhatsApp app, or the business platform — never both.)
- Your business info for the AI: opening hours, services, prices, address — anything customers ask.
- 1
Create your workspace
Sign up at replyero.com/signup — no card needed. Your 7-day free trial starts only when your first channel goes live, so exploring first costs nothing.
- 2
Open Settings → WhatsApp
After onboarding, go to Settings and find the WhatsApp section. You have two ways to connect: the one-click Facebook flow (recommended, below) or manual connection with an existing phone-number ID and access token if you already run Meta Business setup.
- 3
Click “Connect with Facebook”
A Meta popup opens. Log in with your Facebook account and allow the permissions — this is Meta’s official Embedded Signup, run entirely by Meta; your password never touches Replyero.
- 4
Create or choose your WhatsApp Business Account
In Meta’s wizard, pick your business (or create one). Give it your business display name — customers see this name in their chat.
- 5
Add your phone number and verify it
Enter the dedicated business number, choose SMS or voice call, and type in the one-time code Meta sends. If the number was ever used in a WhatsApp app, Meta will ask you to first remove it there — that is the one-number-one-place rule.
- 6
Finish — the connection is automatic
Meta returns the credentials to Replyero and Settings shows “Connected” with your number. No copy-pasting tokens.
- 7
Teach the AI your business
In Settings → Knowledge, paste your business info (hours, services, prices, area). Replace every [EDIT: …] placeholder — the AI refuses to invent answers, so empty fields mean it escalates to a human instead.
- 8
Test in the AI playground
Settings → AI test: type a question a customer would ask and see exactly how the AI answers. Test turns count toward your monthly allowance, just like real chats.
- 9
Go live
Message your new number from your own phone as if you were a customer. The AI answers in seconds. Share the number (there is a QR generator in Settings) and every incoming chat lands in your inbox.
After going live
The AI answers 24/7 and hands complex chats to a human (you get an email). Connect Google or Outlook Calendar in Settings to let the AI book appointments — customers get confirmations and reminders automatically. Add your team on the Team page; everyone works from the same inbox.
Note on Meta App Review
Right after connecting, your number can reply to any customer who messages first. Sending bulk or business-initiated messages to many new customers requires Meta’s one-time business verification — most service businesses that rely on inbound chats do not need it on day one.
